Large Group Presentation

This engaging presentation shows how small moments—like noticing a flower or asking a question—can grow into big ideas. Students will follow the journey from everyday observations to a real, published book, sparking curiosity and confidence in their own writing. Students and teachers will also explore fun facts about wildflowers that grow where they live.

*Presentations can be adapted to reach varying age groups. Each 40-minute session includes a Q&A and, depending on timing, an optional book signing. Pre-sale forms will be sent home in advance and supplied by our local bookseller.

*Presentations can also be adapted for libraries, field studies, and other non-classroom settings.

Small Group Workshops

An engaging classroom workshop where children discover the wildflowers of the Pacific Northwest through guided nature journaling, plant identification games, and interactive storytelling. Ashley brings her expertise and enthusiasm to each session, teaching students how to observe and draw native flowers while exploring their importance to pollinators and local habitats. With hands-on activities and real-world examples, this workshop cultivates curiosity, creativity, and a deeper connection to the natural world.

*Workshops can be adapted to fit most age groups. Workshops typically last 45 - 60 minutes, depending on age.
